Created with design accessibility for the Black community in mind, please note this event is reserved for members that identify. If you do not, we thank you by supporting our mission by withholding your participation.Â
Maya Davis is an interdisciplinary artist from Rochester, NY. She attended the Fashion Institute of technology for Textile/ Surface Design and spent a few years in corporate as a designer. After noticing
how much usable product was being discarded in her industry, she decided to start creating art again.
From this desire to create and a lot of recycled goods, Udeen Designs began. Maya focuses on fiber arts and pointillism work as well as mixed media.
dsgnrswrkshp (pronounced designer's workshop) is a community based collective empowering Black makers and community within all scales of the built environment through connectivity, culture, collaboration, healing, and education.
